Qair contributes to the decarbonization of the electricity mix in the countries where it invests and operates its assets.
Concerning its carbon impact, Qair completed its first carbon footprint exercise in 2021 following the GHG protocol methodology with the supervision of a consultant team. To improve skills and independence Qair created in 2024 its own carbon tools to manage the collection and the calculation of carbon emissions.
Since 2025, Qair publishes annual carbon reportings presenting the results of its carbon footprint exercise for the past year, but also the evolution of emissions from 2021, key performance indicators to reach by 2030, and the action plan to reduce these emissions.
This action plan is based on three pillars : Improve the sustainability of our power plants, Build a low-carbon culture and Be exemplary at source.
