You will join the Qair Information Systems Department, within an international IT team responsible for all the group’s systems infrastructure. In a context of strong growth (presence in 20 countries), the scope covers both operational management of the fleet, server updates and policies to be implemented, and the management of systems projects. The role combines 70% infrastructure management and maintenance with 30% cross-functional projects and support for teams.
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the availability, security, and performance of the group’s systems infrastructure, with a high degree of technical autonomy for both daily operations and project management, user support, and vendor relations.

Main Tasks
As a Systems Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
Operational Maintenance of the Infrastructure
- Ensure the availability, security, and performance of the group’s systems (servers, workstations, physical equipment) across all sites and subsidiaries;
- Design, install, configure, update, and restart servers and systems infrastructure;
- Manage servers (Windows, Linux) and associated services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.);
- Define and implement policies deployed on users’ workstations;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on systems and equipment (patches, backups, restorations);
- Monitor systems using monitoring tools (Zabbix, NinjaOne, CrowdStrike) and intervene in case of alerts;
- Implement and administer virtualization solutions, both in the cloud and on-premise (Azure, Hyper-V, Proxmox);
- Manage backup policies (Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam Backup for M365) and ensure data and systems restoration in the event of a failure or disaster.
Systems Projects and Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the implementation of systems solutions (network and security managed by a dedicated team);
- Propose improvements and optimizations for existing infrastructures;
- Write and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for systems infrastructure;
- Stay abreast of technological trends to anticipate developments and identify improvement opportunities.
User Support
- Provide level 2 and 3 technical support to resolve complex incidents;
- Handle user tickets in support of the IT team on all IT topics (excluding network);
- Train users on best practices and write guides and procedures.
Vendor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with systems vendors for order management, delivery tracking, and warranties;
- Collaborate with external service providers for maintenance and specific projects;
- Negotiate and monitor contracts related to hardware, software, and systems services.
Skills Required
The following skills are essential for the role:
- Fluent professional French and English (technical documentation, interactions with international teams);
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft environments and Windows server management;
- Proficiency in virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox, Azure);
- Ability to work in a multi-site and multi-country environment, with availability for regular travel in France and abroad.
The following skills may help you stand out among applicants:
- Knowledge of IT challenges specific to multi-site and multi-country organizations;
- Experience in network administration (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security (antivirus, firewalls, access management);
- Strong interpersonal skills with systems vendors and external service providers;
- Experience in managing infrastructure projects in a fast-growing context;
- Proficiency in Linux server administration.
This role may not be suitable for you if you are uncomfortable with regular travel that includes international destinations.
