Qair is an independent renewable energy company that develops, finances, constructs, and operates solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydroelectric, tidal energy, energy from waste, renewable hydrogen production, and storage projects.

Within the Group Operations Department, the International Project Development Manager anticipates developments in renewable energy markets. He/She operates within the versatility offered by the various countries where Qair provides multi-renewable energy solutions onshore and offshore: solar, wind, green hydrogen, and others.
The position is based in Paris or Montpellier (at the candidate's convenience), with international travel expected.
MAIN TASKS
- Participate in defining the group’s development strategy and company objectives;
- Participate in defining and implementing budgets necessary for the development of subsidiaries or future subsidiaries;
- Supervise project development, liaising, if necessary, with the development teams of Qair’s local agencies;
- Assist Agencies in selecting profiles and candidates to strengthen development teams;
- Report on development activities through periodic reporting;
- Participate in the development and management of commercial relations with partners;
- Participate in actions to strengthen the companies’ image and credibility;
- Participate in network animation for business introducers in coordination with subsidiary managers where they exist;
- Mobilize state services, elected officials, electricity companies depending on the progress of subsidiary structuring;
- Ensure good coordination with the Group’s support services and specifically with operational services;
- Representation of Qair at meetings or symposiums;
- Ensure regulatory and prospective monitoring across all countries;
- Assist the M&A department in project acquisitions under development;
- Identify new development opportunities in new countries (including participating in tenders) and enable local market analysis and potential establishment of an ad hoc structure;
- Oversee and ensure that the development framework applied respects the group’s strategic orientations. With the help of project manager teams deployed in different countries and agency managers where they exist.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Degree in Engineering/Master’s in Environment, Economics, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing large Renewable Energy projects. A 3-year experience in project development is accepted if the profile has experience in other sectors or positions.
Great interpersonal and writing skills, and solid knowledge in renewable energy.
Comfortable with standard computer tools and scheduling software.
Additionally, they are rigorous, methodical, enjoy teamwork, but are also capable of working with great autonomy.
Professional proficiency in English and French is essential.
