Qair Renewables Romania has been present on the Romanian market since 2020 and has rapidly expanded its local portfolio of renewable energy projects. Initially focused on wind assets, the company has diversified into photovoltaic and energy storage projects at various stages of development.
Based in Bucharest, the local team plays a key role in the development and implementation of Qair’s projects in Romania, working closely with the Group’s international teams to support portfolio growth and the launch of new projects in the coming years.
The QHSE Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with QHSE regulations, company standards, and client requirements across all project activities. The role defines and implements QHSE policies, management systems, and control processes, while adapting them to local regulatory requirements.
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities, the QHSE Manager supports risk prevention, site safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, contributing to a safe and sustainable project environment.
The position is based in Bucharest and involves regular site visits and travel in Romania, with occasional trips to Moldova.

Main Tasks
The QHSE (Quality, Hygiene, Health, Environment) Manager manages and or supervises the following missions within the scope of his/her assignment:
- Check the QHSE regulations of the specifications and the specific HSE needs of the project ;
- Manage the relationship with the authorities on QHSE and regulatory issues ;
- Define and/or implement the QHSE policy by associating indicators and control processes in coordination with the Environment and Social Manager ;
- Implement the EHST and Energy Management management system, and adapt it to local requirements ;
- Advise the General Manager on the QHSE issues of the project in accordance with the client’s requirements and the company’s QHSE standards ;
- Organize inspections on site and at subcontractors to ensure compliance with QHSE rules ;
- Validate Quality and HSE needs in contracts under negotiation with subcontractors ;
- Manage subcontractors for Quality Audits or FTs at the project’s suppliers ;
- Ensure the implementation of training, awareness and medical follow-up programs ;
- Implement continuous improvement systems, investigate accidents and propose improvements ;
- Assess occupational risks and organise the deployment in response in the event of evacuation and rescue ;
- Carry out safety and environmental regulatory monitoring ;
She/He knows how to carry out QHSE reporting and ensure the interface with safety or environmental certification bodies.
Skills Required
- Higher education degree (Engineering School or Master Pro in the field of the QSHE, environment, economics, sustainable development and waste treatment management) ;
- She/He has significant experience as a QHSE Manager/Technician in renewable energy, and/or construction ;
- She/He has a good knowledge of the Renewable Energy environment ;
- She/He has specific knowledge in the field of engineering and electrical safety ;
- She/He knows how to map and analyze risks ;
- She/He has good management of quality, hygiene, health, safety and the environment ;
- He/she has a good management of controls, tests and diagnoses and regulatory and contractual issues ;
- She/He has a good knowledge of the standards and laws in force relating to quality and HSE ;
- She/He has a good command of written and oral expression ;
- She/He appreciates teamwork and rigorous, organized, has interpersonal skills ;
- She/He has a mastery of the Office Pack.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent employment contract with Qair Renewables Romania.
JOB LOCATION: Bucharest with regular site visits and travel in Romania and occasional trips to Moldova.
