Qair becomes the first renewable energy producer to be appointed to the French Tech Next120. This prestigious French government programme helps transform promising companies into world-class leaders. Members are selected based a track record of success and their proven potential to deliver disruptive technologies that meet major challenges, including the ecological transition.

Qair achieves its target of operating 1 GW of assets, and pursues its goal of attaining 3 GW by 2027. At the company’s Port-la-Nouvelle site in southwestern France, construction begins on two pioneering projects: the floating wind farm Eolmed, and the hydrogen production plant Hyd’Occ. Both initiatives are set to be launched in 2024.

Qair develops internationally. It opens a subsidiary in Scotland, winning a 2GW offshore wind project as part of the Thistle Wind Partners consortium. It acquires the rights for a waste-to-energy project in the UK, commissions its 7th wind farm in Poland, and enters the German market with the acquisition of the pipeline and  part of the development teams of Green City. The company also launches the first floating solar power plant in Tunisia, and inaugurates solar plants in Morocco.

The Final Investment Decision (FID) is secured for Eolmed, a 30 MW pilot floating wind farm in the Mediterranean Sea.

Qair also becomes an official partner of Energy Observer, the first autonomous and zero-emission hydrogen ship. The vessel is set to travel around the world over three years, serving as a laboratory for the ecological transition. It relies on an energy mix combining solar, wind and hydro-generation, and Qair comes onboard to provide its expertise in responsible energy systems.

Qair commissions the first private solar power plant in Morocco. Composed of 2,600 ground-based photovoltaic panels, the plant is installed on the site of Nestlé Morocco. It allows the Swiss company to eliminate one thousand tons of CO2 emissions every year and significantly reduce energy supply costs for its factories.
