Efforts from Qair’s polish teams were rewarded in the June 2021 RES Auction in which 1260 projects participated in the below 1 MW basket, and over 88 in the above 1MW basket, securing CfD contracts for 10 PV projects totaling 72 MW.
Among other projects, Qair’s Kalisz Pomorski 60MW PV project and Stoszowice 6MW PV project secured tariffs for the next 15 years.
Krzysztof Wojtysiak, CEO at Qair Polska confirmed: “Year after year, since 2017, we have been delivering steadily increasing Wind and PV projects portfolios to each year’s RES auctions and wining with CfD tariffs close to maximum. As the auctions pace has been quickening recently in Poland, we too are speeding up and growing our portfolio.
In the next years we plan to secure tariffs not only via RES Auctions but also on the cPPA Market and to investigate other local market opportunities. Qair remains well prepared to deliver more exciting projects from its over 2GW portfolio for the years to come and sees Poland as one of the most dynamic RES markets in Europe today“.
The next step for Qair is to fund and start constructing this new 82 MW portfolio consisting of the above mentioned 72MW and another 10 MW in other wind projects.
With the completion of these secured tariff parks, Qair’s operational assets in Poland are to reach almost 400MW.
