Qair Maroc is currently composed of a team of 12 committed and fulfilled individuals, thanks to a participative management approach.

Qair Maroc develops and operates its own electricity generation plants, primarily from wind and solar photovoltaic sources. Qair Maroc operates four self-consumption plants for leading industrial companies and holds two operating permits for a 48 MW solar project and a 130 MW wind project. The electricity produced by these two plants will be injected into the national power grid and then sold to industrial companies connected to the national grid.

The Sales & Business Development Manager will have the primary mission of negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) until their signature and then monitoring projects with banks until financial closing.

The position is based in Casablanca, with national travel expected.

Main Tasks

The Sales & Business Development Manager’s main responsibilities include:

  • Developing the client portfolio through a direct and systematic approach to new accounts;
  • Providing complete information about the marketed services to all clients and prospects;
  • Developing and maintaining quality relationships with clients;
  • Analyzing each prospect’s needs with the support of the technical team;
  • Preparing offers and presenting them to prospects;
  • Negotiating green electricity power purchase agreements (PPAs) until their signature, with the support of the headquarters teams;
  • Analyzing and monitoring all data that may help achieve objectives (clients & revenue);
  • Developing dashboards and monitoring indicators related to performance management;
  • Providing weekly and monthly reports on activity tracking;
  • Actively participating in all commercial and communication operations organized by the company;
  • Monitoring the market and competition;
  • Managing the relationship with banks for project financing until financial closing.

  • Knowledge of the Moroccan business ecosystem;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English.

 

The following skills will set you apart from other candidates:

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic;
  • Knowledge of Moroccan renewable energy regulations;
  • Knowledge of electricity supply contracts (PPAs);
  • Negotiation and signing of electricity supply contracts;
  • Network of energy-intensive industries in Morocco;

 

This position will not meet your expectations if you do not have a strong interest in renewable energy, a high level of determination and perseverance to close a commercial contract, and excellent interpersonal skills.
