Paris, June 4, 2025 – Qair, an independent renewable energy company, is proud to announce its continued inclusion in the French Tech Next40, the French government-backed program that recognizes the most promising companies with the potential to become global leaders. Following its entry into the Next120 in 2023 and its selection for the Next40 in 2024, Qair consolidates its position among France’s most high-impact and forward-looking companies.
The 2025 selection highlights key priorities for the ecosystem — industrialisation, territorial impact, and financial solidity — all of which resonate with Qair’s strategic direction.
A distinction for French companies driving international leadership
Launched in 2019, the Next40 supports the country’s top-performing tech companies based on objective indicators such as revenue growth and fundraising achievements. More than a label, the program serves as a springboard to accelerate companies capable of shaping strategic industries and projecting French innovation on a global scale.
Qair’s renewed selection underscores Qair’s momentum as a fast-growing energy player and highlights the Group’s role in building the next generation of competitive, low-carbon infrastructure in Europe.
Accelerating the energy transition across Europe
Qair develops, finances, builds, operates, and sells renewable electricity and green molecules from projects deployed in 20 countries. While rooted in France, the Group targets the European market as a priority, with the ambition to deliver competitively priced green electrons and molecules that support the continent’s energy transition goals.
“We are honoured to be selected once again for the French Tech Next40,” said Louis Blanchard, CEO of Qair. “This recognition rewards our teams’ continued efforts and underlines the relevance of our model, which combines innovation in renewable energy with a long-term contribution to building European industrial and energetic sovereignty”.
About The French Tech Mission:
The French Tech Mission, operating under the Ministry for the Economy, Finances and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, is dedicated to bolstering the French startup ecosystem. It provides support to the most advanced startups through the French Tech Next40/120 program and assists those in strategic sectors identified by the “France 2030” plan through the French Tech 2030 program.
Through initiatives like French Tech Tremplin, the French Tech Mission empowers individuals without entrepreneurial experience to launch their own startups across France.
To foster a competitive and efficient market, the French Tech Mission has introduced the “Je Choisis la French Tech” program, which encourages public administrations and corporations to source solutions and innovations from French startups.
Additionally, the French Tech Mission is backed by a global network of French Tech communities, including 17 capitals and 31 communities within France, 67 international communities, 6,000 engaged startups, and 1,400 volunteers spanning 52 countries.
