Paris, 22 May 2024 – Independent renewable energy company Qair is proud to be recognized as one of France’s 40 most promising and successful companies by being included in the 2024 promotion of the French Tech Next40 programme.
Qair, already a Next120 winner last year, has reached a new milestone by being selected for a second consecutive year, this time in the Next40.
The French Tech Next40 is a French government programme launched in 2019 by Mission French Tech and dedicated to the most successful companies with the potential to become world-class technology leaders.
Particularly demanding 2024 selection criteria
The French Tech Next40 is aimed at high-potential companies, selected based on objective criteria to assess their growth potential, whether through analysis of customer confidence (revenue growth) or investor confidence (fundraising).
For the class of 2024, Mission French Tech has adjusted the selection criteria for the French Tech Next40/120: the 120 places are now equally divided between those based on revenue (60 places) and those based on fundraising (60 places).
This year’s class of 2024 has also adopted a more comprehensive approach to performance, incorporating issues such as the ecological transition and gender equality.
At the forefront of France’s future floating wind and renewable hydrogen industries
For Qair, this recognition testifies to the company’s commitment to the energy transition. The Group is positioning itself as a pioneer in innovative sectors such as floating offshore wind power and renewable hydrogen and is today building the foundations of the French industrial sectors that the French government has called for.
“We are delighted to be included in the prestigious Next40 and to be one of France’s most successful companies,” says Louis Blanchard, Chairman of Qair Group. “This recognition confirms the French government’s support for our projects and reinforces our belief that our company is well on the way to becoming a major player in renewable energies in France and around the world.”
