Safran

Located in Nouaceur, Safran’s photovoltaic power station is the first solar plant in the aeronautic sector.
With a capacity of 2.7 MW, it is expected to generate over 20% of Safran’s annual energy needs, highlighting a significant step towards renewable energy integration within the aviation industry and marking an important milestone in Morocco’s energy transition.

Safran’s Nouaceur solar power station was inaugurated on December 9th, 2022 n the presence of a Leila Benali, Morocco’s Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Vincent Caro, President of Safran Nacelles, Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi, Chairman of Safran’s Board of Directors, and Wahba Zniber, managing director of Qair in Morocco.
