The last few months have been marked by great progress for Qair in the development of renewable energy projects in Italy.

Following the acquisition of Green City Italy last June, Qair strengthened its team and increased its development project portfolio. A first solar plant of a 8 MW capacity located in Marrubiu, in Sardinia, will enter the construction phase at the beginning of 2023. Other projects in the Lazio and Basilicata regions will follow.

In October, the Italian Council of Ministers expressed a positive opinion regarding the “environmental compatibility” of our wind farm project of a 73 MW capacity on the municipalities of San Mauro Forte, Salandra and Garaguso, in the Basilicata region.

Also active in innovative fields such as energy storage, offshore wind and hydrogen, Qair now owns in Italy a 1,7 GW project portfolio under review, of which 150 MW should receive approval shortly.
