The Nexans solar plant in Mohammedia was inaugurated on December 7th, in the presence of The Minister of Industry and Trade of Morocco, Ryad Mezzour, the CEO of Nexans, Christopher Guerin, the managing director of Nexans Maroc, Selma ALAMI, and Wahba Zniber, managing director of Qair in Morocco.
Considered one of the largest industrial power plants in Africa, this solar power plant with a capacity of 2.5MWp is installed on an area of 12,166 m2 with 4,640 panels and avoids the emission of 2,850 tons of CO2 per year.
